This apartment in the center of Manacor is on the 2nd floor of a two story building.
Due to several skylights in the ceiling, the apartment is very bright and the two bright courtyards ensure plenty of natural light.
The rooms are very spacious and can be designed individually.
There is a lounge, equipped with a sofa bed and a workstation. This room can be used as a living room or as a bedroom – especially as there is a large built-in wardrobe.
From the entrance you reach the open kitchen-living room, where there is a living/dining area, which can also be designed as a separate, spacious dining room.
The open plan kitchen is separated from the living/dining area by a counter.
At the rear area of the building – facing the two courtyards – there are two bedrooms (1 double bedroom and a single bedroom), one of which has an en suite bathroom and there is a separate bathroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with a bathtubs.
The house was built in 1927 and the apartments were renovated in 2004. There are still wooden windows – although with double glazing.
From the apartment one can access the roof terrace. Each party has its own roof terrace area, which loses a little floor space, due to the skylights but still offers the opportunity to set up a table, chairs or even sun loungers to create a small feel-good area.
At the front of the roof terrace, there is a private utility/storage room.
Manacor is the second largest city in Mallorca after Palma and is well known for it´s industrial past and its close proximity to various coastal towns and touristic beaches..
The pedestrian areas are another attraction of Manacor, especially around the cathedral area. On Monday is the ever popular weekly market. At the traditional stalls are foods of all kinds, clothing and also local handicrafts, such as hand caved olive wood.
Close to Manacor is the marina town of Porto Cristo, best known for the Coves del Drac, with guided tours in the middle of the stalactites, ending at an underground lake with classical music.
